People need to be scared of Pam Weintraub, too, because now her book is not really necessary and may lead people astray. We need people to focus on the immunology of chronic Lyme. Think about it. My kids have congenital Lyme Disease, two Yale "MDs" committed malpractice against me and my children, 5 Yale staff and Yale associates perjured themselves against me in order to interfere with the obvious malpractice by James Phillips, and no one in the entire State did anything helpful for Lyme victims, with the exception of Karen Forschner ( www.lyme.org ) and myself. Not one "MD" in this state ever did anything helpful for Lyme victims, and you can't ask them to. I tried. They simply won't. They instead join the gangbang of victims.

Our immune cells are mutated, too, and probably should be replaced in this way, but Lyme spirochetes have more ligands than the CCR5, and these spirochetes remain latent and intracellular in other tissues such as the brain, in the cyst form, as described by Vijay Sikand:

The main ligand for Lyme spirochetes, allowing them to disseminate is OspC, something not even in the protoypical strain, B31. OspC binds red blood cell integrins.
The object of the spirochaetes, however, is to rid themselves of the bright spherical granules which can be seen within them and which may or may not be aggregations of the so-called chromatin core. They are forced along the periplastic sheath and suddenly discharged , so that they become free in the medium and dance hither and thither as tiny, solid, spherical, brilliant white particles. In process of time the spirochaete loses its activity, becomes difficult to see, and eventually all that is left of it is the limp and lifeless sheath drifting aimlessly in the fluid and liable to be caught up and swept away by some still vigorous parasite. Such a sheath may still retain one or two of the granules which it has been unable to discharge.
As may be imagined, the process is most fascinating to watch, and my observations have been confirmed by Captain Fry and Mr. Buchanan, of these laboratories and Captain O'Farrell, R.A.M.C. I may also say that the first-named had previously seen a shedding off of granules by trypanosomes in the peripheral blood of experimental animals, a phenomenon which he is now studying.
It is these spirochaete granules in the liver, spleen and lung, and possibly also in other internal organs, which I believe, invade the red cells. I think I have seen the penetration occur, but require to make further observations in order to be certain as to the mode of entry. Such a chain of events fully explains all the puzzling features which this intracorpuscular infection has hitherto presented, and moreover, brings it into line with the infective granules found in the ticks, for these very closely resemble those seen in liver-juice films both when examined by dark-field method and when stained by the Levaditi process. There are various other points more especially as regards the peculiar staining reactions of these granules, into which I need not enter beyond saying that the fact that, when free, they do not appear to take on the Romanowsky stain may explain why they have not previously been noticed. The work is also not yet complete as it is necessary to find out if the spirochaetes ingested by ticks behave in a similar manner and thereby produce the granules of Leishman. ...

UNFORTUNATELY, THERE IS NO ACTION OTHER THAN HERE.
There are many forces at work in America in the Lyme arena who are about fraud and lies, and that includes many of the so-called Lyme victims, like Pam Weintraub and Pat Smith of the lymediseaseassociation.org, who are instead, liars and obstructionists. Then there is ILADS.org, which is not interested in ending the status quo. Note that I wrote the original ILADS rebuttal to Klempner in 2001, and provided all the references for the argument that Klempner was scientifically invalid. (The analysis of data strength was written by Brand at URI). A year later, Ray Stricker joined that rebuttal group. Note that that rebuttal was the only paper produced by ILADS where they talk about scientific validity. I wrote the first rough draft of the rebuttal with all the references which proved Klempner was scientifically invalid nonsense within the first week of Klempner's "breaking news" that Lyme was a non-disease on June 13, 2001, by Gina Kolata at the New York Times: http://www.ilads.org/position2.html
You will note that June follows January, which was when I told the FDA that the testing for Lyme was BS, that there was a previous test (1990), and that no one approved of the new Steere/Dearborn method from among all the attendees to that 1994 Dearborn consensus conference.
Prior to the crazy, irresponsible Gina Kolata's un-researched June NYT article, I met with NYT Magazine's David Grann and explained the entire crime to him in person- in Albany. David Grann was actually at the Albany Lobby Day, stalking us, instead of it being true that anyone was "stalking Steere."ILADS does nothing to help us because they apparently never really understood what "scientific validity" meant, but neither does the New England Journal of Medicine.

The Lyme RICO required False Claims to the United States Government:
1) The Steere/European/Dearborn diagnostic standard is fraudulent and was meant to a) falsely qualify LYMErix and b) set up a monopoly on what is in human blood (new diseases, genetic susceptibilities to diseases), since Yale's L2 Diagnostics, Imugen, and Corixa were to be the only ones qualified to test for VBDs after LYMErix was on the market, since LYMErix Western Blots were unreadable with the OspA-B plasmid in the standard borrelia.
2) Biomarkers discovered by the crooks, but not deployed by IDSA or Mark Klempner. This includes all the data found in the 1989 IDSA Reviews, the ALS, cancer, and the MS data
3) Mark Klempner's fraudulent "long term treatment" article. This includes a charge of scientific fraud with intent- deploying the non-scientific psychiatric morons to discredit us with their abuse, imaginary bullshit, perjury, and doubly-brain damaging psychotropics. It is malpractice to treat a real brain disease with CNS depressants, according to the American Psychiatric Association, as that makes the brain damage worse.

This was to set up a monopoly on infections (vaccines and test kits) - as well as genetic susceptibilities to disease - by the Israeli criminals: Allen Steere, Durland Fish, Alan Barbour, Gary Wormser, Mark Klempner, John Nowakowski, Lenny Sigal, Eugene Shapiro, Larry Zemel, John Halperin, Henry Feder, Robert Schoen, the CFR-AIG Greenbergs, and Mortimer Zuckerman. This is important because it is useful biowarfare information.
In other words, these Israelis tried to hijack our entire bioweapons program for their personal use.
